The prophet Peace Be Upon Him said:
“الرَّجلُ في ظلِّ صدقتِه حتَّى يُقضَى بين النَّاسِ” (رواه بن حبان).
That is, the Muslim on the Day of Resurrection will be under the shade of a cloud that will prevent him from the heat of the sun on the Day of Resurrection until God judges between His servants. So, who is more in need of charity, us or the poor?

The origin from which the word “charity” came is the word “honesty”, and this is not a coincidence. Charity, with good intentions in it.
Charity is a practical societal system established by Islam to be a solution to human problems. Through charity, the sick are treated, the ignorant are educated, water wells are built, children, women and men are fed, and a sustainable source of decent living is available for the poor.
