Strengthening Agricultural Resilience in Beledweyne: A Milestone Achievement
We are proud to announce a significant step forward in building sustainable livelihoods in Beledweyne District. As part of the BRCiS-OASIS Project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Zamzam Foundation in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), we have successfully distributed 40 irrigation water pumps and 5 crop threshers.

These essential agricultural tools were delivered to five farmer cooperatives across Beledweyne, marking a key milestone in our ongoing commitment to strengthening community resilience. These resources will help local farmers to:
- Increase crop productivity
- Improve efficiency in post-harvest processing
- Build resilience against climate-related and environmental challenges
By empowering farmers with the tools they need, we’re not just boosting food security; we’re fostering economic stability, community self-reliance, and long-term development.

Zamzam Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Somali people to all our partners and donors. Your unwavering support helps alleviate the suffering caused by prolonged conflict and environmental hardship. Together, we are sowing the seeds of sustainability, hope, and empowerment.
