Al-Najat Charitable Foundation’s Visit to Somaliland

Al-Najat Charitable Foundation’s Visit to Somaliland

A high-level delegation from the leadership of the Al-Najat Charitable Foundation landed in Somaliland, led by the Director General, Sheikh Mohammed Ismail Al-Ansari and Advisor, Mr. Saadoun Al-Ali, bearing gifts of hope and joy. They were received by Zamzam Foundation’s Chair, Mr. Shuaib Abdullatif and Hargeisa Office Director, Mr. Muhammad , welcoming and rejoicing with the visiting veterans of humanitarian giving. It was an extraordinary day in Somaliland.

Al Najat Residential Village

Our first destination was Al-Najat Village, which was built with generous funding from our brothers in Kuwait Al-Khair under the supervision of Al-Najat Charitable Society. The delegation toured the village sidewalks and village sectors which include 50 housing units, a school, health center, mosque, playground, greenhouses, and the village market which has 22 commercial stores. The village also has a well that will provide clean water for all these facilities.

The members of the delegation were delighted to see the beautiful homes that will soon shelter the families of displaced orphans transitioning from difficult conditions to a better standard of living, by the Grace of Allah. They were filled with a sense of satisfaction and pride in what had been achieved.

Eye surgery project

The next day, the guests visited the Ibsar campaign project to carry out eye operations. There they met many of the beneficiaries who had been operated on and the medical staff who played a major role. The beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude to the delegation and prayed sincerely for Allah to bless their efforts.

The delegation’s visit had a great impact on our staff at Zamzam Foundation. It increased our determination, strengthened us, and reinforced our mission to serve humanity. On our part, we promise to continue working hard and sincerely for those who are in need everywhere.
